I’m Ketan Saxena — a tech builder, engineering leader, and systems thinker with 10+ years of experience scaling products and teams. From architecting backend systems to leading global squads, I specialize in shipping what matters. I’ve worked across MERN, cloud, and AI-driven platforms, with a no-nonsense focus on impact. Now based in Dubai, I’m building toward the next frontier: startups that blend code with intelligence. On the side, I write sci-fi and also consider myself part-time philosopher — because imagining the future is part of designing it. I don’t want to chase trends, I build ahead of them.

Responsible for working on multiple projects, delivering tasks and making sure squads are meeting the deadlines and OKRs. Create long term technical roadmaps for products and milestone breakdowns. Making sure that the code and the architecture are scalable and maintainable across multiple projects in the company by following suitable patterns, best practices.
Also involved in hands-on coding for sprint tasks for about 30% of my efforts. Participate with stakeholders to understand about product's details and create implementation plans. Conducting technical interviews for new hires.

Professionally: I’m still searching for that rare combination — a product I believe in and a visionary leader whose mission I can align with. My goal is to become a core pillar of a company that values trust, autonomy, and long-term thinking. I want to inspire the next generation of engineers, lead with empathy, and never stop learning from those around me.
Personally: I aspire to retire early, spend meaningful time with my daughter, and raise her with values rooted in empathy, resilience, and generosity. Life doesn’t have to be extravagant — but I do appreciate great cars, slow travels, and the freedom to explore.
I’m an explorer at heart — curious, adaptable, and always up for a technical challenge that pushes my limits. Outside the world of code, I’m an aspiring author with a love for crafting sci-fi novels, short stories, and speculative fiction. Engineering may be my craft, but storytelling is my compass.

Hands on experience in Nodejs, Angular, React.js, GoLang, Ruby on rails and other frameworks isomorphic like Meteor.js with an understanding to select the right technology stack as per the needs of project.
